libkipi11 software package provides KDE Image Plugin Interface library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libkipi11
libkipi11 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libkipi11 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libkipi11 *
You will get with libkipi11 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
